Where I’ve Been: Meet Asher

January 4, 2015 By Vanessa Vila 4 Comments

I’ve been MIA for about a year now, for a very good reason–no, the best kind of reason.  My son Asher was born 2 weeks early, on May 24th (the day we were hosting a neighborhood BBQ… because of course).  I swore he wouldn’t come early because his big brother was a stubborn dude that we had to induce to get him out.  Asher had other plans though, and made a grand entrance approximately 1 hour & 10 minutes after we arrived at the hospital!  Yes, I waited maybe just a little too long at home, but it all worked out just fine.

I will go into Asher’s birth a little more on another occasion.  I used a hypnosis technique, and followed a program called Hypno-babies that my friend MH recommended.  It was absolutely amazing!  So it definitely deserves its own post.  Asher’s birth proved to be life-changing for me, and he is a sweet-natured, easy (most of the time), fun baby!  He lives up to the definition of his name: Happiness or Blessing.

Without further rambling by me… because I could go on & on for days to anyone who will listen about how sweet he is and how much I love him:

Introducing Asher 🙂
