This is my favorite season. The flower buds bursting through the earth… the vibrant purples and pinks on the cherry, pear, dogwood trees. The gorgeous Eastern redbud’s lavender flowers lining the woods (and Interstate 40, ha!)
Thankfully, I don’t suffer from allergies anymore (I will elaborate in a future post!) so I have enjoyed warm evenings playing basketball with Gabe, watching Eliza try to learn how to scoot on the scooter, and wincing as Asher “helps” to water the yard (and maybe water things that aren’t supposed to get we too–like me!)
I took some extra pics yesterday during the kids’ Easter egg hunt–the flower pics shown below. I’m still doing photography here & there, for friends and family. It’s still something I enjoy, and would do more of, if given a few more hours in each day or week 🙂  These are all straight out of my camera, with no editing–no time for editing these days!

Asher loved it the most! Nearly 5 years old… this is my spunky, happy-go-lucky, dimpled boy!
Gabe wasn’t too happy he didn’t have a basket… so he started off very crabby, but quickly morphed into Uncle-mode and helped Eliza find eggs. Then into cool big brother mode, teaching Asher about the different coins that the Easter Bunny brought (instead of candy!) Very selfless… A proud mom moment! It truly melted my heart!
And last but not least, our “little missy”… she is quite a lively one! She enjoyed the egg-hunting too (and the popsicle!)
I had a mom-fail moment and forgot to get Easter baskets out of the attic. So, that’s why they’re using mixing bowls 🙂 I Hope you had a wonderful Easter too!
